Why you say, can I compare the Messiah to Pontius Pilate instead of a community organizer?
Let's examine - what do they have in common?
* politicians that were faced with a tough decision
* politicians who PUNTED, rather than take a stand
Pontius Pilate - was asked by the Jews to condemn Jesus to death. He wouldn't do it - instead he handed him over and passed the buck. "Pilate had to deal with two conflicting feelings, first there was the fear of offending the Jews, and second was the gut feeling that Jesus was innocent."
Barack Obama - voted "present" 129 times out of 4000 votes in the IL legislature on issues rather than take a stand. How hard is "Yes" or "No"?
That is leadership we cannot afford.
